Today was a pretty good day! Besides bombing a calculus test, I had a very enjoyable day. After lunch I got to go to my acupuncture meeting, these meeting have turned out to be really relaxing. I get to skip school to get massaged, poked with needles and sleep under a heat lamp when I should be in Mass Media and photo! Afterward I walked down to a bakery to get bread for my family and a cookie for Duke and I (He had just texted me that we would be hanging out today). For the first time in a while Duke drove to my house instead of me having to pick him up and we snuggled and kissed and all that lovey stuff:) The reason we were hanging out today, is that Duke is leaving Thursday for 12 days to visit colleges and have Thanksgiving with his sister out east. So I’m already counting down the days till my D-day (Duke day) I get to see him hopefully next next Monday? But since swimming starts that day also I don’t know when exactly D-day will be. Hope you guys had a fantastic Tuesday and got the chance to catch the new Glee that I won’t get to see tonight! Peace!

Off to Neverland!
So for my Sadie Hawkin’s dance, our school has the tradition of making it a informal dance where groups can pick your own theme. My date chose Peter Pan. So I got all of my stuff from a thrift store and decided to fly around my neighborhood.
In other news, I finished my essay and I am having it edited now. I will post the final essay once it’s done!
Last Installment
One interesting thing that happened to me today was that I was walking around downtown and some man came up to my sister and I and told us that he needed money to get his car untowed and by some miraculous lapse of judgement I believed him and gave him 20$. I later found out that a friend of mine fell for the same thing, I feel so stupid.
My bucket list isn’t finished, but here are the last of my current list! Sorry I haven’t had much time I’m busy with a research paper. Comment some things you guys want to do before you die!
41. Go Dog Sledding
42. Marathon/Triathlon
43. Galapagos Islands
44. Buy a sailboat
45. Go to Bartending scool
46. Full Harry Potter Movie marathon (Daunting task)
47. Fall in love
48. Attend a Pride Festival (hopefully this June?)
49. Make a difference in the gay community
50. Get on TV
51. Cuddle by fire till we fall asleep
Hope everyone’s weekend was awesome!
Dinner and a Movie
Friday afternoon I texted Duke, asking if he would wanna hang out for the night. After a series of prank calls to my phone Duke told me to go pick him up from school. We went to my house and were able to go downstairs for the first time in months (my parents were living down there due to construction on their room) we immediately cuddled under a blanket. It was incredibly nice to be holding Duke and be held by Duke, since I hadn’t seen him in a while. Eventually my dad came downstairs and asked Duke and I if we would want to go out to a fancy pizza place with the family. I wasn’t really sold so I asked Duke if he thought we should and we decided that we would go out to our own dinner after they left. So once they left Duke and I were able to do something I’ve been longing to do. Cuddle in my bed, under all the sheets, and we did and I felt like nothing could make this moment better.
Eventually, we decided to go out to a favorite restaurant of mine, a french american restaurant. We got a nice little table with candles, bread, all that stuff that romantic movies have. Although I might add it wasn’t all to romantic how close we were to other couples but nonetheless I thought it was romantic. I ordered the “Ze French Onion Soup” Burger and Duke ordered the Steak sandwich hold the veggies (Duke isn’t the most adventurous eater) the food was delicious and during the meal we talked and had a good time. 🙂
We went back to my house to once again snuggle downstairs on the couch. We didn’t even bother putting a movie on because I wanted to devote ALL of my attention to Duke. We talked and talked about random stuff but it made me so happy. We talked about Christmas , favorites, etc. At that moment, I was so utterly happy while I was laying on Duke’s chest that my eyes started watering. Never before have I ever cried out of sheer happiness. I love him.
We decided to meet up with two of his best friends that haven’t really met me yet, we agreed to see In Time with Timberlake and Seyfried. I thought it was great and it was even greater seeing Duke interact with his friends and introduce them to this whole side of him they hadn’t seen. We made fun little gay jokes to break tension and I think they liked the idea of us. After the movie we drove back to Duke’s school. Had a SHORT peck and I kicked him out because there was no way the police will ever bust me again:) I went home with the greatest feeling in the world. I love Duke, Duke loves me, and the world has never felt more right.
Hope you all are having a super fun weekend! Thanks to all the people reading and commenting, it means a lot! Thank you!!
Ze Bucket List part 2

I also really miss Duke, I haven’t seen him since last Saturday and we have not been able to text much this week due to busy schedule but I’m really missing him. Picking Up Pace
This week was the start of a new quarter for us and our school has really jumped head first into the new quarter. I am getting more homework, combined with swimming keeps me nice and busy. I still make time for Glee though! Tonight’s episode was really quite good in that it addressed the topic of sex and virginity and one of the couples they highlighted was Kurt and Blaine 🙂 I thought it was a very well done episode that gets down to very strong moral ideas. Additionally I appreciate that Glee IS breaking barriers showing gay people in a good light which I feel hasn’t really been done very successfully on television. The music was pretty good as well! This was my personal favorite. Hope you all are having a FANTASTIC Tuesday!
The Hard Times at Cicero North Syracuse
Over the past few weeks, I have really gotten to know another blogger very well. Chris, has had a blog for just as long as me and I really enjoy what he has to say. Besides, Chris being another cool gay swimmer, he brings new stuff to the gay swimming experience. One thing he is working on is compiling a bunch of opinions on gays in locker rooms which I find very interesting. Anyway check it out! http://Hardtimesatcns.blogspot.com/
Being Gay is Cool
I am kind of weird in the ways in which I operate. Ever since last New Years I was challenged to make a bucket list. I have done this a lot I’m striving to make 100 items and accomplish them all. I loved having a list, and I’ve maintained several different lists throughout the year. One thing I decided to make was a list of reasons why being gay is awesome. And since I have several lists I’m going to make a new tab up on the toolbar for all my lists and that way I can keep them current. Especially my bucket list!
1. You are unique, you add to the diversity of the world
2. I get to be directly involved with one of the biggest social reforms since the times of Martin Luther King Jr.
3. Being gay makes you part of a community. Gays look out for other gays.
4. Never have to worry about a pregnancy. (sometimes not a good thing)
5. Gay guys tend to be very sensitive, caring and such. (just a generalization)
6. I can like things like Ke$ha.
7. Because we are a minority we tend to understand others and be more compassionate.
8. Gays take good care of their body for the most part (generalization)
9. Life is not the normal path which can be exciting and amazing.
10. I can make non offensive gay jokes about myself.
11. Boyfriends can protect you and you can protect them.
12. No gender rules so you can be both the big spoon and little spoon 🙂
13. Nice Clothes
14. Girls love us
15. Pride
Tell me why you think being gay is awesome!!
